The Bridge Preparatory Academy is established to provide an outstanding Christian education to students with various learning differences.  The founders, Jeff and Jackie Lockett, parents of a child who learns differently, were burdened to begin the school after they searched for one throughout the greater Houston area that would meet the needs of their son.  As educators with combined experience of more than 30 years in public and private education, the Locketts encountered many students who, although bright and capable, struggled in traditional school settings.  While well-meaning schools provided rigorous academics, either there were limited or no individual accommodations, or the accommodations went far beyond the support these capable students needed.  The Locketts felt burdened to do something about it not only for their son, but others just like him.  After much prayer, research, and planning over the last three years, Bridge Preparatory Academy is here to meet the needs of these unique learners, combining researched-based instructional strategies and personalized academics with high individual expectations and strong character development.
